Las Vegas Phonatic


We're extremely impressed with Max Jacobson's recent review of Pho Sai Gon 8 in Las Vegas Weekly. Not only does he understand and explain clearly what makes a good bowl of pho (the broth!) he earns our respect for his willingness to try stinky Vietnamese food. While describing the different dishes he sampled - beyond pho which he says was the best in town - he mentions mam tom and sinh to sau rieng as favorites! Wow, many Vietnamese have never acquired the taste for these pungent foods.
